Closer than you think.

Clifford Gate.

To Drive :
4.5 hours from San Francisco
4 hours from the East Bay
2 hours from Reno

From the Bay Area we think the easiest drive is to take the 505 to I-5 North, turn east in Red Bluff on Antelope Blvd/CA-36, then head up and over Lassen into nearby Chester. But for something more picturesque, try taking CA-99 North from Sacramento to Highway 70 then follow it up the Feather River Canyon. It takes a bit longer but it’s worth it!

To Fly :
Chico Municipal.................80 miles away
Redding Municipal.............105 miles away
Reno-Tahoe International...120 miles away
Sacramento International...160 miles away

To get into the Lake Almanor Country Club:
The Country Club is a gated community.  There are two gated entrances, one on Peninsula Drive and the main gate on Clifford Drive. We’ll notify them of your arrival, so make sure you stop and get a tag for your car. Once “checked in” we will provide you with gate cards for use during your stay.  Please take note of the hours of operation for the gates on the “Rates and Stuff “ page. Once through the the gate, continue on Clifford Drive and look for the 4th street on the right...West Mountain Ridge(watch closely, the first street is immediately inside the gate and easily missed).
